X-wing Asteroids

Made some Asteroids for a mate who plays X-wing :-)

Started with a cheap car sponge, which I then picked apart into 6 rocky shapes.

 

 Then I drenched them in grey paint.....

 .....and left them to dry.

 Then some dry brushing with some white to pick out the high edges...

 Cut our some wood shapes roughly matched to the 'droids themselves

Then I glued in some dowels, painted all the wood black, and glued the lot together.
Oh and I gave them a spray with cheap strong hairspray to try and give them some resilience to being played with. :-)
