Washing line
Even in the wild west, someone was doing the washing!
made this for the little farm buildings I'm making, to give them some flavour and even cover.
Cutting the items out from 'wet-wipe' material was a nightmare, but it came out 'ok' I think.
I tried to give them some colour, with a light ink wash, but soon realised that the wash wouldn't 'take' where the glue had dried. Never mind, good enough for some fun scatter terrain :-)

Dead Trees

Cheap 3d prints from Temu again.
They needed a wash to remove oils, and I drilled them from underneath and glued into the holes some old lead fishing shot. This gave them some weight to stop them moving around on the tabletop.
Simple prime, basecoat and several different dry brushes gave a decent enough result.
Will be good for lots if different games.

Ruins
Found these on the Chinese website Temu. 3d printed, quality is 'ok', but not amazing. However they were just a few quid, and came out rather nicely.
Primed white. Heavy wash with DIY black wash. Lots of moss and plants. Done :-)

Cactus
Paint was white primer, Citadel dark green Contrast paint, then a good drybrush with a sandy tone. A sandy base finished them off with a little diluted brown wash here and there to break up the sand colour. A medium sand colour did for the foam rock.
I'm really pleased with how they came out.

Spray Primer
Made an interesting discovery....
Plastikote Primer tends to dry rather shiny, a bit thick, and....well...'Plasticky'. This has now left me several times with a model that is almost hydrophobic to Acrylics and been a pain to finish.
Hycote Primer spray cans on the other hand have proven to give a really good thin prime, with a nice matte finish and great tooth for subsequent layers.
Lesson learnt.....
Plastikote for craft projects !

Mine Entrance
A light brown then light grey to try and get that old silvered wood effect on the supports.
A little rust effect on the bolt plates.

Castle Ruins
Another cheap buy from Temu. 3d Print is 'good enough'.
Another wash with my DIY 'Nuln oil' and lots of careful plants added. Looks far better than it has any right to !

Well well well.
Well, its only one well, actually.
A little 3d print I made myself in a 3d design program. Fun to do but very time consuming. New respect for designers.
Paint job came out 'well' enough for the table...(sorry).

Cart
A great model cart. I liked the wood tones from the laser cutting so much, I skipped wet painting it, and simply added a careful heavy drybrush of grey then brown, and based it on sand. Love how this came out.
