This was a labour of love.
The wheels were a nightmare to get off and put back after painting, but really happy with the way they came out, getting them to look scrubbed up.
The front Ram was originally meant to be magnetised, but that turned out to be a complete headache, so given advice that monster trucks should nearly always take Rams, I just glued it up.
As its ability is to ignore rough terrain, I went with a really muddy theme, showing how it uses all the space on the course.
Pleased with the shocks and minor highlights, and pleased with the engine detail.
The Harpoon is magnetised, so can be swapped out or left out.

Superglue and Bicarb of Soda to lock up axles. Also little plugs of plastic as the axles could originally move up and down. |
The struts for the ram took an age to get right. Bending x4 of them, in 2 matching pairs, to sit correctly into the chassis. |
